My primary intent is to help each student experience the joy that comes from the expression of making music. This only becomes possible when the proper fundamentals (technique, rhythm, note reading, ear training, etc.) are carefully nurtured and developed.

While technique, exactitude, and progress are important, it is more important to me that each lesson is a safe, loving, and encouraging learning environment.
