My own private teacher has taught me online for four years now, and I have found student progress and achievement to be equal to in-person lessons. Of course, there will be things to learn about students becoming proficient online, but with time there will be no difference.

The many benefits and conveniences of online lessons are obvious.

Parents of younger students (8 and under) will attend lessons, and address misbehavior if needed. While there is some physical involvement, I ask that you let me be the only teaching voice during lessons (I will ask you if I need help).

I use Zoom to stream lessons. It is free and does not require registration!

It doesn't happen often, but due to my full schedule, I am unable to give extra lesson time to students who experience technical issues. (Have another device handy as a backup plan — we can finish the lesson that way, if necessary.)
